Changed:Recital 17: (17) Where the activities to be carried out pursuant to this Regulation involve the processing of personal data, such processing should comply with the relevant Union legislation on personal data protection, namely Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council1a and Regulation (EU) 2018/1725 of the European Parliament and of the Council1b. / 1a Regulation (EU) 2016/7692016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (OJ L 119, 4.5.2016, p. 1). / 1b Regulation (EU) 2018/1725 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 October 2018 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data by the Union institutions, bodies, offices and agencies and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Regulation (EC) No 45/2001 and Decision No 1247/2002/EC (OJ L 295, 21.11.2018, p. 39).

Changed:Article 37 – paragraph 1 d (new): 1d. The Commission shall inform the European Parliament about the joint procurement procedures conducted in accordance with this Articleand,Article and, upon request, grant access to the contracts that are concluded as a result of those procedures, subject to the adequate protection of commercially sensitive information, including business secrets, commercial relations and the interests of the Union. The Commission shall communicate information to the European Parliament regarding sensitive documents in accordance with Article 9(7) of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001.
