Rejects the Commission’s decision to suspend visa-free travel for holders of Georgian diplomatic, service and official passports, considering that this measure is counterproductive and risks deepening political confrontation rather than supporting democratic reform; stresses that challenges should be addressed through holistic dialogue with the Georgian Government based on mutual respect and on the implementation of recommendations from the ODIHR and the Venice Commission; insists that the general visa liberalisation regime for Georgian citizens holding ordinary passports must be fully preserved; opposes any escalation to broader visa suspensions, which would harm the Georgian people without resolving political differences; |
