Considers it unacceptable, both morally and legally, that certain countries grant special privileges, including pensions, to members of criminal organisations from the period of totalitarian regimes, including the Nazi SS and communist security services; calls for an end to these disgraceful practices of financially privileging perpetrators, which directly undermine the dignity of victims, and for the allocation of funds to commemorate the victims of these regimes, and to ensure appropriate redress for them;

Strongly condemns the increasing violence against police officers, border guards and other law enforcement personnel, including in the line of duty and while participating in operations aimed at countering hybrid attacks against the EU, such as the weaponisation of migration; notes with deep concern that such violence has led to the death of a Polish soldier on the border with Belarus, and to serious injuries to other law enforcement personnel; calls for enhanced support and protection for such personnel in the performance of their duties to the state and society;
