Motion for a resolution28. Calls on the Commission to urgently present in its 2026 Commission Work Programme a humanitarian strategy with a focus on an ambitious, people-centred and integrated approach to fragility, and the mechanisms to implement it, and to consult Parliament on the preparation and implementation of this strategy; welcomes the Commission’s communicated intention to prepare an integrated strategy to address fragility and conflict; highlights the importance of developing such a strategy with appropriately adapted, context-specific funding that addresses the interconnected challenges of peace, development, climate action, and humanitarian needs, including by engaging more with the local private sector, with full respect for the humanitarian principles; in view of this strategy, calls on the Commission to take into account the gender dimension;	Amendment28.
