Removed:Article 25 – paragraph 1: 1. The Commission shall by [OP – please insert the date - two years after the transposition period is over], and every two years thereafter, submit a report to the European Parliament and to the Council assessing the extent to which the Member States have taken the necessary measures to comply with this Directive, and providing recommendations to Member States to improve compliance. Member States shall provide the Commission with the necessary information for the preparation of that report, including, but not limited to, data referred to in Article 21 (2).
Removed:Article 25 – paragraph 3: 3. By [OP – please insert the date – three years after the transposition period is over] and every two years thereafter, the Commission shall carry out an evaluation of the impact of this Directive and of the need to update the list of environmental criminal offences and submit a report to the European Parliament and to the Council. Member States shall provide the Commission with necessary information for the preparation of that report. The report shall be accompanied by a legislative proposal, if necessary.
