Where the rules of a recognised interbranch organisation are extended pursuant to paragraph 1, and the activities covered by those rules are in the general economic interest of economic operators whose activities relate to products solely destined for the local market of that outermost region, the Member State may, after consulting the relevant stakeholders, decide that individual economic operators or groups, which are not members of that interbranch organisation but which operate on the market in question, are to pay the organisation all or part of the financial contributions paid by its members to the extent that such contributions are intended to cover costs directly incurred as a result of pursuing the activities …

The figures provided for in this Regulation should therefore be calculated on the basis of the figures agreed for the MFF 2021-2027 or, should that MFF not be adopted in time, on the basis of extended 2020 ceilings and provisions in accordance with Article 312(4) TFEU.
